WHMS Foundation Awards Fall Scholarships

The West Holt Medical Services Foundation (WHMSF) is pleased to announce the recipients of the Foundation’s fall 2024 scholarships.

Addison Karo is a 2024 graduate of West Holt Public Schools. She currently attends the university of Nebraska-Kearney, majoring in biology, comprehensive with a Health Science Emphasis. She intends to enter medical school upon completion of her undergraduate work. Karo also has previously served as the WHMSF Junior Board Member.

Miya Carey is also a 2024 graduate of West Holt Public Schools, currently attending Wayne State, majoring in Chemistry/Pre-Pharmacy. She intends to enroll in pharmacy school upon completion of her undergraduate work. Carey has worked in the WHMS Retail Pharmacy previously.

The WHMSF awards two $500 Scholarships in the Fall and Spring of each year. Previous winners of the Foundation scholarship are eligible to apply. For more information on eligibility or to apply, visit www.westholtmed.org/scholarships.
