WHMS Cancels HealthaPalooza Event

ATKINSON, NE — West  Holt Medical Services (WHMS) recently announced the cancellation of its HealthaPalooza event scheduled for July 23, 2020.

The annual event has become a community favorite for its free health screenings, local health resources and family-friendly activities. However, due to the unprecedented global health crisis, WHMS healthcare workers have been focused on its COVID-19 emergency response.

“We appreciate the community’s understanding and support as our healthcare team continues to care for patients and focus our efforts on preventing the spread of COVID-19 in our service area,” shared Jessica Prussa, Foundation and Marketing Director at WHMS.

“We look forward to a day when we can all gather under different circumstances in celebration of the communities we serve,” added Prussa.

WHMS will be working on alternative ways to offer health resources and screening opportunities over the next coming months.
