Dream Big Gala to Feature Keynote Speaker John Cook
ATKINSON, Neb. — West Holt Medical Services Foundation is planning to “Dream Big” for local healthcare at its inaugural fundraising gala on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the Atkinson Community Center at 206 W Hwy 20.
The event will begin at 5:00 p.m. and include an evening of fine dining, Nebraska wine and beer, silent and live auctions, entertainment and keynote speaker John Cook, the University of Nebraska volleyball coach.
John Cook has led the Huskers to four National Championships, six Finals appearances, nine Final Four appearances, 12 Conference Titles, and 17 top-10 final rankings since 2000. Coach Cook currently has 721 career wins and is the fifth-winningest coach in NCAA history. In his inspiring speech entitled “Dream Big” Coach Cook will discuss how the philosophies, beliefs and values found in successful coaching parallel many of the same ones found in successful organizations and non-profits.
Net-proceeds from the Dream Big Gala will benefit West Holt Memorial Hospital’s renovation and expansion project including a new specialty clinic, laboratory, surgical suite addition and staff offices.
Tickets for the Dream Big Gala go on sale April 15 and are $100 per person. Table sponsorships are also available for $1,000 and include a reserved table of 8 and marketing benefits. Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets early as seating is limited.
