West Holt Medical Services is seeking applications for a certified Medical Assistant to work with our in-house MDs, NP, and PAs while having the space to connect with your patients on a personal level. Education & Experience Requirements:

• Graduate of accredited medical assistant program preferred
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in State of Nebraska or equivalent required
• Current Certified Medication Aide (MA) in State of Nebraska or equivalent preferred
• Certifications maintained as required

Duties:

• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts. Completes requisitions, prescription refills and orders from providers.
• Gives injections or treatments and performs clinic laboratory tests.
• May schedule appointments, performs ward clerk tasks, and completes insurance forms. May key data into computer to maintain office and patient records.
• Assist with patient / family teaching.
• Promotes a harmonious work environment, recognizes responsibilities and performs them willingly with positive impact on patient and co-worker.
• Other duties as assigned.
• May serve on committees, attend meetings, etc.
