Accounts Payable Clerk/ Materials Management Manager
West Holt Medical Services is seeking applications for an Accounts Payable Clerk/ Materials Management Manager. This position is responsible for both Accounts Payable and Materials Management/Purchasing duties.
Requirements: Completion of high school diploma or by equivalent outside study. Accounting skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word preferred.
Accounts Payable Duties:
- Reviewing, posting, and paying invoices
- Maintain vendor files and supporting documentation
- Assist hospital accounting activities through document retrieval
- Assist CFO/Director of Finance per request
- Maintain flex spending account with payroll director
- Assist other departments upon request or as needed
- Other duties as assigned.
Material Management Duties:
- Oversee inventory and supply needs for departments
- Purchase, receive, unpack and stock supplies as needed
- Research best prices and monitor levels of inventory and supply
- Create purchase orders and obtain quotes
- Be aware of par levels, daily usage, and items needing ordered
- Perform physical inventory at least once per year
- Work closely with Group Purchasing Organization
- Meet with or reach out to vendors as needed
- Work directly with CFO for month end procedures
- Other duties as assigned.
Position is for 30 – 35 hours a week; hours may vary depending on need.
